WATER MAIN REPAIR & TRAFFIC NOTICE – FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 11

The Village of Waldo will be completing a water main repair tomorrow, Friday, September 11. Some residents may experience a temporary water shutoff during the repair. No water will be turned off before 8:00 a.m. The median crossing at Highway 57 will also be temporarily closed during the repair.

Because of the closure:

If you are traveling east across Highway 57, you will need to turn south onto Highway 57.

If you are traveling west across Highway 57, you will need to turn north onto Highway 57.

This is only a short detour. After turning onto Highway 57, you can travel a short distance to the next crossover and then continue in the direction you originally intended to travel. Please use caution in the work area and plan for a few extra minutes of travel time.

Once water service is restored, you may notice some air or discoloration in the water. Please run fresh water through a bathtub or utility sink to flush your lines and avoid plugging faucet aerators.

Thank you for your patience while this repair is completed!
