π When are utility bills due?
Utility bills are mailed around the 20th of each month and are due by the 15th of the following month.
π»Can I pay my bill online or set up autopay?
Yes. Contact the Village Office to enroll in direct payments or ask about current payment options. Credit/debit card payments are accepted at www.Allpaid.com. A convenience fee is charged to the user.
ποΈ Garbage & Recycling
β»οΈWhen is garbage and recycling picked up?
Garbage is picked up every Wednesday. Recycling is picked up every other Wednesday. For a current calendar, contact the Village Office or visit the Garbage/Recycling section of the website.
π«Can I bag my recycling?
No. Bagged recycling will not be accepted. All recyclable items must be placed loose in the bin.
πDoes the Village supply garbage or recycling bins?
No. Residents are responsible for providing their own garbage and recycling bins.
πΏDoes the Village pick up yard waste or grass clippings?
No. Residents must bring grass clippings to JD Trucking. The Village does not provide pickup services.
π Permits & Licensing
π₯How do I get a burn permit?
Burn permits are purchased at the Village Office. They are valid for one year from the date of purchase and cost $10.
ποΈWho do I contact for a building permit?
Contact the Village Clerk to begin the process. The building inspector will work with you once your form is received.
πΆDo I need a license for my dog?
Yes. Dog licenses are required annually and issued by the Village Office. Proof of rabies vaccination is required. Licenses expire on December 31st. There is a grace period until March 31st. Starting April 1st, a late fee of $15 per tag will apply.

πCan I rent a Village facility for a private event?
Yes. The Village Park, Memorial Hall, and Village Hall are available for rental. You can find the rental agreement under the Community section of the website or contact the Village Office for availability, rental fees, and use policies.

The Village Board meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:00 p.m. at Village Hall.

πHow do I register to vote or request an absentee ballot?
Visit myvote.wi.gov for voter registration, absentee ballots, polling locations, and ballot previews. You may also contact the Village Office for assistance.
π¬I changed my name or moved within Waldo. Do I need to re-register?
Yes. Any change in name or address requires you to re-register to vote at myvote.wi.gov.
πͺͺDo I need a valid photo ID to vote?
Yes. Wisconsin requires a valid photo ID to vote. Visit the WI DMV website for information on obtaining a free state ID.
